I'd throw in with you lot...

Drop a line here if you are a new Glaston, or an old one returning.

I'd throw in with you lot...

...if'n you'll have me.

I was sitting in the corner of the Thirsty Dog in the wreck of a town that is Tortage, scraping the mud from my shoes and choking down flat ale and a crusty heel of black bread. This fellow strode in, holding the door open - I assume so there'd be enough light for him to find the bar, but all he managed was to let the heat of the hearth out into the night.

When I shouted at him to close the door or sod off, he plopped himself down at the bench, and told me a tale. Called himself Earthwulf, he did, and said he represented a motley band of folks who weren't much when they alone, but who mattered when they were together.

I've been dragging my heels through every pub and alley in this waste of a town, looking for a way out and a means of mattering. This stranger didn't seem to mind that I'd soil on my clothes, "borrowed" steel at my side, and mistakes in my past. The promise of good fellowship tugs at the bits inside what ain't yet given up, and so I come to your door to ask for a seat at your hearth and a chance to belong. I'll make it worth your while, you'll see.

And if not, well, Crom take the lot of ya!

So, what say you? May I take a seat?

Is it really a mural if blood red is the only color?

Well to be fair, there's also brain grey, liver brown and well...you'd be surprised at how many subtle shades of red blood can dry in. It's really quite fascinating.

You might want to have that cleaned. It might get infected. o_O

Thin tendrils of snaking, blue electricity crackle between a pewter tankard and the Stygian's hand and he reaches for his brew.

The Stygian slowly raised his cloaked visage into view. "Our numbers have been thinned by an unseen hand... and a new blade is welcome in our company. But be warned... here you will find both mirth and murder. Vengeance is our ultimate path."
