An Elf comes in peace...

Postby Suilebhain » Tue Sep 23, 2008 1:30 pm

"It seems on this plane we are to be on the same side..." the elf said before letting out a long sigh. "What a relief." Looking about the room, he spied his old friend Jonn, who, in a former life, was a giantkin who had turned into a tree.

"Any chance of getting an ale, and directions to where I might sign up?"

You had better serve ale to elves. Otherwise this alliance will never work.

Please pardon my confusion. That always happens to me when I shift... New names, faces just a bit different, but it is the essence, the spirit of the being that is readily apparent. Once I become acclimated, all the previous memories fade, but the initial juxtaposition of the last incarnation and the next results in some very strange cognitive errors...

...like this conversation, for example. In a day or two I will forget I ever had it, but will recall that something was said to someone someplace, and I will go on from there.
